most pumps are located inside the fuel tank. Our manuals don't have Holden, but it looks to be a subcompact GM product..It may have an access cover under the rear seat to get to the pump assembly, otherwise you will need to drain and remove the fuel tank
Here's a guide to check out, not vehicle specific, but it will give you an idea of what it takes to change in in-tank pump
can you tell me the location of the fuel pump on my 95 barina and how easy is it to replace as my racv guy said its stuffed,as the car just cut out and would not go again.it kicks over but does not start..thanks

I'm not too familiar with this model vehicle, but 99% of newer vehicles have an electric fuel pump located in the fuel tank. Before you go to the trouble of removing it, I would suggest checking fuel pump pressure to see if it is bad.

found that the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank and to access it is under the back seat.found that the filter part of the pump was dirty and needed to be cleaned so it could suck fuel properly too feed through the lines...
