I have a random popping noise from the driver's side front wheel area no matter what speed. I was recently in 4 wheel drive and assuming that hub did not disengage. Is there a way to manually disengage it. It is push button 4 wheel.

have a pro check it there is no way to manually disengage it . it may be an axle joint and not what you suspect. You can look for a torn boot on axle ujoint or grease around it if it is it needs replacing.
