2002 GMC Sierra Fuel pump pwer

I recently replaced the fuel pump with a aftermarket pump, when I did I had to change the connector, afterwards I had no power on the grey wire and found the fuse blown. And when I replaced the fuse it would blow again. I'm not sure why? Also I want make sure I have the wires right at the pump. Can you send me a schematic.

Before you replaced the suspect pump, did you check voltage and ground at the fuel pump? Was the fuse blown with the suspect pump?

I'll look up your wiring, but, If the wires on the new connector aren't color coded properly. or the connector numbered properly, the wiring diagram may not help? Give me a second.
