When you get those kind of miles the transmission could fail the engine could develop a issue could even burn a lot of oil for all you know.Also other problems could come up windows fail to operate etc.The more miles the more problems that could be there or happen in the future. So really up to you if you want to step into the unexpected. I have 268,000 miles on my car i have redid the engine and repaired the transmission also other issues.I still have a few things to fix but never know what's going to break next.But that's what happens when you have a older car with a lot of miles on it.But i own it no payments and i have gotten way more out of it then i have in it.So its up to you if you want to do it.I would imagine with those kind of miles on it probably needs from front end work tie rods ball joints etc.I would have a mechanic look at it before buying it.
