replaced pump and new pressure line threads appear to be stripped where the line attaches to the steering rack can this be fixed without changing out the steering rack which appears to be fine no leaks?

no the housing is aluminum and there are not repair kits that I know of. you might try an auto parts but because there is an o-ring on line I kind of doubt it.
