First Start after Prolonged Storage

Pull plugs and add a small amount of diesel enough just to soak into the rings, let sit over night and crank with no plugs to expel any excess, fit plugs and check coolant start and get hot, make sure thermostat is opening, check that brakes are not stuck with rust as well.

When you say no plugs, do you mean pull the wires, or remove them from the vehicle...I do not want diesel all over the engine...Could I also use that red miracle oil stuff???

We are only talking about a table spoon of diesel, just lay an old towel over the plugs when you crank, most of the diesel will soak past the rings, we don't have red miracle oil in Australia, not sure what it is, what ever you use it must be thin to penetrate around the rings.

Its not good to leave a car not run for two years seals get dry and crack and you will end up with oil leaks and now your compression rings are probably stuck to the piston and you have loss of compression in the cylinders causing it to run rough.transmission fluid is excellent for this.pull each plug and put a little shot in each cylinder leave it overnight.it will puff blue smoke on next start up ...but it will burn off.
