Ignition switch must be faulty does engine shut off? what stays on?

engine shuts off but accessories stay on windows radio etc, remove the tumbler everything shuts off. removing the battery cable to turn off

When BATT hooked backup does stuff come back on? if yes then something in iGN. SW> linkage or switch itself see diagram
