Usually it's a sign that the PCV is clogged and should be replaced, is the oil on the dipstick clean?

It depends on how bad it's clogged, it has one. Autozone reads codes for free, get them read, then post them here for more help.

If both heater hoses comming from the heater core are hot, the blend door is NOT moving, if the inlet hose is hot but outlet is cold, the heater core needs flushing, or replacement. if both hoses are cold, check antifreeze level and thermostat, also rarley but known to happen is the impeller blades on the water pump disolve over time and may not be pumping enough.

Have you checked the dipstick? Is the oil OK there? Or is it the same color? If you havent changed the oil and filter now is a good time, Some techs would recommend an engine flush, I would not, this cream on the oil fill cap, if that's the only place it is, is like I said, an indication of condensation in the upper engine area, and usually clears with an oil, folter and PCV change.

filter.... You can wipe the cap off... My wife's hyundia deas the same thing, and she does short trips to work, under 1 mile each way. Synthetic oil might help in these cases.
