hi there, the f150 ecoboost engine fit on the 2002 ford explorer?

My 2002 explorer engine blow, and i want to put something more fuel efficient as the ecoboost or diesel engine on it. Can you give me sugestions?

this is more costly and ot worth the trouble to do this. Chances are you mileage would be just as bad with the other motor due to parts you would need to replace like wiring harnesses and computers. replace the engine you have in it already
