what would cause transmission fluid to leak from under the passenger side near the wiper fluid tank

this is a 7.3 diesal. There is transmission fluid leaking from under the front end of the car. It is not near the transmission. I looked at it with a light and there are hoses located under the wiper fluid tank area. The fluid is red transmission fluid it is not from the wiper tank. Thank you
