I have a 2002 ford E250. I have a rattling sound when my 4.2 engine is at idle ,and when I turn the key to shut it off it rattles. I had the belt changed 2months ago. It shifts nice when driving. What could it be ?

At the mileage you listed, a good suspect is a stretched timing chain that's slapping against the cover.
