Does the fuel pump need to be replaced?

The car will start and run when cold. Car will not start if drive car, shut it off and then try to start a few minutes later. If you let car cool off awhile (about 60 minutes), it will start. Someone who sells Crown Victorias said it is the fule pump.

Begin your diagnosis with the no-start condition. Check fuel pressure and check for spark using an in-line spark tester.

It could be tge fuel pump or srnsors and testings would have to be done to find out what is wrong.
