Hi
turn signals in my car won't work. My dad checked all the fuses for the car, put in new turn signal switch, and even changed out all the lights but they still won't work. When you turn the switch for left or right turn there is no indication inside that they are on and they don't flash outside. What could be wrong?
Thanks for your time!

The most logical suspect is the electronic flasher unit. Most of the time, if the signal switch is defective, just one side doesn't work. Same with the bulbs. The chances of one on each side burning out at the same time is pretty rare. The days of the ultra-reliable 4-dollar flasher are long gone. Now, the engineers found the need to replace it with a 50-dollar electronic assembly, and with the environment all the electronics live in, failure is to be expected.
