P.T CRUISER GOING 50MPH. SUDDENLY ENGINE ,RPM GO UP AND CAR CRUISES TO A STOP , NO POWER , AUTOMATIC TRANMISSION DOES NOT ENGAGE.

Proberbly a failed oil pump or torque converter, this will have to be checked by a trans specialist as special tools are required to do system tests on autos.

sounds like it lost its fluid.......coooler is probaly gone in the rad.....
