I have a friend that is looking for the name of a specific part. Two months ago my friend's battery went dead and needed to be replaced. A AAA guy came out and replaced the battery. He told us that there was a small part, something that I guess connects the battery to the engine. He said it was wearing down and needed to be replaced soon or the same thing would happen again. He said it had to be ordered from Chrysler dealer and that it was like a ten dollar part. He said something about he could stretch the wires to reach but that wouldn't last and could screw it up. not sure what he meant. I hoped maybe emailing you, you might know what he's talking about. My friend seems to have lost the paper from the service she received, where he wrote down the name of the part, and they don't apparently have records of it. Any idea what this piece could be? The car is a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser and they said the part cost around $10.00 normally. hoping you can help. thanks!
