Overheating within three or four blocks of driving?

Hello,

If the radiator cooling fans are not operating the engine will overheat.
Check to see if the fans are coming on when the engine is at operating temperature.
The radiator fan can be inoperative due to bad relay or wiring, it can also be faulty coolant temperature sensor. The Sensor can send incorrect data to the control module and the fan will not come on.

First check the fan relay. The relay is located under the hood in the fuse box (see diagram).
Check for any corrosion or bunt pin(s). This vehicle has 2 relays for the radiator fans.

If the relays are good then check to see if you are getting power to the fan at the connectors. If you have power there then it is likely bad fan motor.
