Last night we opened the windows on the car to let some air in and it started raining, I went out to close them and everything seemed okay. I dried off everything and not much rain had gotten in. But today we went out and the mirrors weren't moving. We are out of town and hope this is just a easy thing we can do ourselves.

Hello,

It sounds like the DDM module has gone out if the fuses are okay which you should check first. Here is guide to help us get started and the fuse locations with the mirror wiring so you can see how it works.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

If the fuses are okay the drivers door module will be next. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

DOM Fuse # 10 ( 10 A)
LT Door Circuit Breaker 2 ( 25 A)
RT Door Circuit Breaker 2 ( 25 A)
All fuses in rear fuse block ( below left rear seat) see diagram.

If water had gotten to the driver module inside driver door, then you could have a bigger problem than the fuses.

I tested my vehicle for a parasitic draw and discovered it was the instrument cluster. After putting everything back together I lost functionality of all four windows, locks and mirrors. I tried testing the relays and fuses which all had power and seemed to be working, i tried a new door module and still had no working locks or windows or mirrors, i replaced the accessory fuse and those items still did not operate.

for windows put old module back in if you have it this may need scanning by a local professional to fix the windows. For the locks go to driver information center see pictire on how ot fix the locks. To exit hit trip or fuel info.

Have it scanned for codes as I am assuming you have checked fuses under hood and relays. auto parts will not be able to scan for this.

Have the trouble codes checked. There are possible codes for this problem. Check the wiring going into the passenger side door, hinge side. Orange is voltage, hot all the time use voltage tester. Black wire is ground.
