I have agreed to purchase a 2002 Chevy Trecker ZR2 with 69,000 miles on it . I called the dealer to arange a pick up time and was informed that during a test drive the head gasket blew. Since it would be under warrenty he would fix it and I could pick it up next week or get my money back. Is it worth it to get the vehical or is a head gasket blowing a sign of major problems to come?

I seriously doubt that happened on a road test. Blown head gaskets are generally the result of severe overheating and the problem was likely there all along and was traded in for that reason. Whether to take the car or not may be a hard decision. This is an indication that someone likely abused it. If the price was right, it may be worth buying.
