It's probably not a conventional PCV valve, just a vent pipe you are looking at? Here is the location of the valve. Check out the images (Below). Please let us know what happens.

No its not a vent pipe,Its an authentic part that they call a fixed PCV valve AC Delco Part #CV2001C I just wanted to know the reason it was installed in my suburban. Thanks for the comeback

Not all cars use an actual PCV valve even though they still vent the crankcase to the intake.
