It makes a noise when I turn the wheel. I think the pump may be bad. I'm a widow and I can't afford to hire mechanic. I don't know what I need and how much it costs. Could you give me the basics and what to buy besides the part needed? I don't have some of the tools needed to do the job. Help! Thanks!

you need to know what eh thoise is first have a mechanic check it . it may be something simple like low on fluid. then ask if he will teach you how to check oil , trans fluid , p/s fluid etc. he will it will on ly take a few minutes.
