Install passenger side mirror

I need to install a new mirror assembly on the passenger side door of my 2002 Chevrolet Astrovan. I cannot figure out how to lift the panel on the inside of the door to get to the screws holding the mirror assembly. What is the trick?

it may be part of the door panel. If you see a split line just put something behind it like a wide screwdriver or stiff putty knife. pry it off, remove the nuts for the mirror and reverse for install

How do I replace the indicator lens on the side mirror. We fitted electric folding mirrors when purchasing car and have spare lenses on the original mirrors. The indicator lens is broken and I need to remove it from original mirror and fit it to the mirror on the car.
