Starts then dies if i dont keep my foot on the gas...

I went to leave and when i started the car it would die if i didnt keep my foot on the gas. any ideas on what it could be? I had auto zone check the codes and it said the mass air flow sensor so i replaced that and it still wont start..

If the problem is related to idle, check for vacuum leaks and check the idle air control solenoid. Both can cause this type of problem.
