I am having an issue with my 2002 Cadillac Escalade 6.0 AWD 150,xxx miles. Recently the Service Stability Light light comes on after driving my vehicle for 30 seconds. I can BPMV Pump operate which lasts around 2 to 4 seconds. I scanned the system and found the following codes:
C0212- Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit
C0286- MPA Switch Circuit
C0290- Lost Communication With PCM
C0298- Powertrain Indicated Traction Control Malfunction
A friend who is an ASE Certified Technition for GM, told me he has seen a bunch of EBCM issues, but stated that he has never seen one throw the C0212 code. He said I should start small and buy a Yaw Rate Sensor, since the other codes are present if the yaw sensor failed the whole stability system will shut down and give the other codes as well. Please let me know your opinion in this matter so I may resolve the issue.
Thanks.
