My 2002 escalade 6 liter engine just hit 100,000 and is due for a tune up. The dealer said $350 and $500 if spark plug wires were brittle and need replacing. What is involved in this tune up beside new plugs, wires, fuel filter, PCV valve and clean throttle plate (body)?

Seems expensive, and perhaps I can do myself. Any suggestions?
