Does the BCM have anything to do with the rear defogger?

My radio is locked out. The keyless remote does not work. Service vehicle soon light comes on. Automatic lights do not work. Having car checked out at dealer tomorrow. Would the rear defogger be affected by the BCM?

yep. I have one and put in 3 of them since 2002. same symptoms as your having.
