I had squeaking on braking so I took it to Meineke and they changed pads and a tie rod end on the drivers side. then the brakes started grinding after I'd driven it to warm it up. So took it back 3 times - another new set of pads and they resurfaced the rotors twice - the first time they chattered them the second they really ground them down. Still having the grinding and am not going back to Meineke. What can be the problem??

That noise is a common result of using higher-quality linings. They are harder and cause more noises, but it usually goes down when they get warm. Higher humidity makes them squeal too. If you had given the new linings a chance to break in for a few hundred miles, the noise becomes less when the first layer wears away.
