Everytime I go to start the car it takes 3 to 4 times before the engine runs.
I'm afraid eventually the starter will go out due to over use.
When the car is running it runs smooth.

I would try to retrieve codes if any first and check fuel pressure leakdown. If fuel pressure is bleeding down fast pull the plugs and verify that they are not wet to rule out injectors,it may just be the pump and or relief valve.
