An alarm which is DSC (dynamic stability control) it's frequently appearing on the dashboard. When it appears, the vehicle losses power and stops. Whenever am driving my BMW 320i M-Sport, trouble light comes on and once it does so, it affect the car in the way that it's loses power and finally comes to stop. What can i do?

Fault codes. When the computer detects problems in major vehicle systems, such as the DSC, it sets a code. We can interpret that code to see what is wrong. Usually quite easily. Many of the large auto parts chain stores do this for free. There are also many small and large auto repair shops that will do this for free, in hopes that you will let them fix it. If we know what the code is, we can look it up in our reference so we can give you an idea of what needs to be done. Then you can decide whether or not to perform the repair yourself.

Not off the top of my head. This is why I said get it scanned for codes. You can usually get this done for free at many repair shops and even parts stores like Pep Boys and O'Reilly's and Advanced.

It takes about 10 to 15 minutes, unless they're really busy, then maybe 20 minutes. Or they'll tell you to come back at a certain time. And, again, it's free.
