i have a 2005 audi a4 1.8t quattro, i had a vacuum leak but i got that fixed and i also did a whole tune up on the car, but im still getting a check engine. With a code p0507- idle control system, rpm higher then expected. When the car is turned on it stays at 900rpm then when it warms up it goes to 1200rpm at idle, and stays that way. I dont know what to do, can there still be a vac leak some where, or maybe i need to replace the idle air control valve which thats really expensive. Is there anything i can do. Please need advice?

I dont think i can find a audi parts at the junk yard. I need help fixing the problem. Maybe i dont need to replace the part, since the car has only 57000 miles. the car stays normal when i start the car in the morning for like 10 minutes untill it warms up then it stays at about 1100 rpm. and the check engine says code p0507.

You can clean the IAC with a good quality carby cleaner, also do the throttle plate IAC's may not always clean up and it is not uncommon to have to fit a new valve, get a new unit, do not mess with second hand.

you can certainly find audi parts at a junkyard. its not a ferrari, lol... As far as fixing your problem, have you verified your intake air sensor is within 10 degrees of your coolant temp sensor when the car is cold??? these are the same as VWs and very finicky... that could also give the symptoms your having.
