How do I replace the front and rear struts

I just had a local repair shop replace the starter on my 2002 Acura RL (bad mistake) after 4 weeks I got my car back, the VSA and ABS lights would no go off and the car had no brake lights (paid Acura dealer $600.00 to correct these problems) as the local shop had to remove the left steer axle suspension to replace the starter, the car now has a very very rough ride, Acura dealer advised will need struts
