locked fuel door

the fuel door on my 2001 v70 wont open, the fuses are good and the rear doors unlock. I have tried locking and unlocking repeatedly and still it remains locked. is there any way to open it manualy

From inside the trunk, fold down the right side lining and reach inside and pull the plunger back. Most likely the motor has failed. If the plunger has seized up then your in a lot of trouble? You will need to try and break off the plunger without having to break the fuel door? Worse case scenario you will need a new fuel door and lock.
