were in a 2001 vw passet is the fan and ac relay located or what number it is

In #3 fold relay box under left side dash see diagram. Here is a guide to help test it.

There are #3 relays in the "thirteen fold relay box" under the driver
kick panel.

The above diagram shows relay 1 being used for a/c / coolant fan control.

The painted number on the relay (for the coolant fan control) is 214.

Assuming this is a 1.8T
