2001 Volkswagen beatle stutters at idle and sometimes difficult to start. Happens intermittently seems to be worse with cold or wet weather. I have had the timing belt replaced a year and a half ago, the radiator flushed a year ago, a tune-up and a new battery two weeks ago and a new serpentine belt 3 months ago. There is a slight exhaust smell also. Any ideas?
