the car stalled in traffic and had it towed home. when i started checking things out i noticed that the key on and engine off lights on the dash were dim and the check engine light was flickering. i turned the key to try to start it, but it just cranked over and would not start. i connected my obd2 scantool and the check engine light quit flickering and came on solid, and when i turned the key it started right up. with the engine running i disconnected my scan tool and the engine died right away. i reconnected the scantool and i turned the key and it started right up. i also noticed that with the scantool disconnected there sounded like a relay was clicking under the hood, when i connected the scantool the relay stopped clicking. someone please help i am at my wits end. thank you......
