I have a 2001 Toyota Avalon. As I was driving the battery light came on, lights started getting dim, dash display in center of dash went off, and the car started sputtering. Shortly after that it stalled with no battery power. We jump started the car, it ran for a few minutes and then died. We towed it home, put in a new battery, it ran fine for about 10 miles and the battery light came on again. Am wondering if I need a new alternator? Don't want to spend $220 if that's not the problem. Thanks, Dan
