only cold air inside car, with heater on

my car temp gauge is not showing that the car is overheating,but only cool air is blowing inside car & ive noticed that the fan is carrying on well after i have have turned the engine off

check to see if your coolant level is full that is the first sign of no heat. then check to see if your hetr. hoses are both hot. if they are your actuator on your heat unit is stuck/not working etc. generic pic enclosed.
