i have a renault espace 2,2 dci ,, and have put a new egr valve in it 6 months ago and it needs cleanned out every 3 days as its so badly clogged up with soot,,,why is it doing this?

running rich condition. get it checked as to why it is running this way.

have the intake side cleaned of carbon and install a fine mesh screen on the egr
