What could be the problem of why my car wont start?

My '01 Oldsmobile Aurora wont start. The lights & radio stays on, but the car itself wont start. I had to unplug the battery for those things to go out. So what could be the problem?

check the things with arrows that i have in the schematic and check condition of battery as well.if it reads below 12.4 volts time for anothe. also check your theft deterent system. turnkey on for up to 10 minutes until light goes out then turn off and then try to start car.
