how do I fix my rear door that will not unlock?

I changed the battery in the key remote and that didn't help. It also will not unlock using the lock function on the driver's side.

It sounds like you have a lock actuator that is not working but to be sure use this guide to check for power and diagrams below to remove the door panel.

Thanks for this post it was the lock actuator in my car got a new one for $76.00, all fixed!
