Hello, my name is Dalton and i have a bit of a dilemma. Late last night while getting coffee from mcdonalds drive-thru i was leaving the parking lot and some moron wasn't paying any attention to the road and was coming right at me so i when beeping didn't make a difference i ended up swerving i guess on reaction and when i did that i drove over one of those parking lot curb median things. It's like a divider for the lot when cars are parked. Now, it's no bigger than any normal curb so i guess that's a good thing. It was the left front tire that hit/drove over the curb. I was only going 10 km if that. I also ended up popping the tire on impact. Two days ago, i just got an alignment and now i'm thinking if it's not too serious, i'll have to go and get another one. Can you please help me out and possibly let me know if there's any other damage that could be wrong with my car?

It's always possible that something got bent on impact but the guy doing the alignment should be inspecting for those things before aligning it and the alignment measurements will disclose those things.

You're absolutely right but do you think that the damage could be "bad, bad?" Personally, I don't think it'll be much of a fix. I myself am mechanically inclined. If it's too serious, well i'll have to take it in then. If i bent a tie rod or bent/broke something in that area what would it run me up in price, approximately?

I have no idea what was impacted or how hard. A professional inspection is the only thing that is going to tell you that.

True enough. That's understandable seeing as you can't see it with your own eyes. Alrighty then. Well, thanks a lot for your help. Have an excellent day!
