turn signal flasher location?

the flasher is called a combination flasher because it does the blinkers and hazards in the diagrams below. You may run into an additional clinker in that the flasher may not operate with the added resistance of the test bulb, or it may START to work properly because there will no longer be a short circuit. Given that the problem has steadily gotten worse, look first for wires that have rubbed through the insulation. A common cause is chewed up wires for the trailer connector. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

It's mainly only gotten worse in rain. I've noticed this morning that the fuses only tend to blow when it its damp out, rains, etc. My truck has other problems while its cold/wet out, such as power steering problems and a loud clunking noise when I make a hard left turn, but that's a story for another day. So the point of this is, my truck very much disagrees with cold and wet weather, and I don't know a whole lot on what to do about it.

Did you read my reply? Use the light bulb trick when it's damp out or raining. If you have a trailer wiring harness, look at those wires. Any corrosion will be affected by water and can make a short act up more.

where is the turn signal flasher on a 2000 pick up? I found both fuse boxes and I can not find it under the dash

it is behind the center part of the dash have. Here is a picture of what it looks like. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I found it, first you take off the dash only four screws. Then remove the gauge cluster on the right side at the top in the back is where it can be found.

Where is location of turn signal flasher?

Unfortunately I cannot get a diagram or anything real useful. What I can find is that it is behind the center of the dash somewhere. Also, it is a combination unit, meaning it runs both the hazards and the signals. So if the hazards are functioning at all you can try following the sound to it.
