If noise goes away when clutch pedal is depressed, that is not a fault with the throwout bearing. Clutch bearing should be reversed symptom, only noise is produced when the clutch pedal is depressed because that is when the clutch bearing is used.

You have a fault within the transmission and usually it is the clutch shaft bearing inside the transmission that has excessive free causing the noise.
