Can you replace the transmission from a 2001 mitsubishi galant 6 cylinder with the transmission from a 2003 Mitsubishi galant 4 cylinder?

you'll have to check torque converters as they may be different and might cause a vibration when you run. long as bolt pattern is same. check with a trans guy
