I have a 2.4 engine that has no power after replacing the timing belt what can I check.

I have repaced the timing belt for maintance and now the car has no power. It will start right up. I have checked all the timing marks and adjustments twice and can not find anything wrong. What do you suggest.

Did you put engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC before you set the cam and crank markings

Yes I did I followed the repair procedure from alldata.

Are you positively sure its on the compression stroke not on the exhaust?

Its the crankshaft sensor. you may have it on upside down.
