I have a 2001 eclipse gt 3.0 v6 5 speed. And for the past month or so the car has been idling funny. It will sometimes idle at right above 1k rpms or right between 500 and 1k, or right on the idle line and fluctuate and sputter. Sometimes it sputters and the rpms fluctuate right above the idle line. It was fine with me until it started to die on me when this hapoened. Other than that, it runs perfect. Anyways, I took off the iac valve and wiped it off with throttle body cleaner and sprayed a little of it in where the iac goes. Right after that, I fired it up and it threw a code. I went and got the code ran and it came back as an o2 sensor (not sure which one) I got that replaced, and it seemed to idle fine, at least for a day or two. Its idling just like it was before, and sometimes you have to hold the gas to keep it going, but even if you hold the gas perfectly steady at 1k rpms to keep it running I can still watch the tachometer go up and down slightly. The whole car will shake a little when it sputters, other times it could be idling so smooth I couldn't even tell it was on. Please try and help me here I'm stuck. Thanks.
