As I was driving to work I noticed I had a head lamp out and my blinkers were not working (either side). When I got to work I tried to use my hazard light button to see if the blinkers would come on at all.
As soon as I pushed the hazard button in I lost radio, wipers, auto window, climate control, and speedometer.
In my accessories fuse box I have 2 blown fuses, a 15a in position 16 (Flasher and GEM power, Integrated Circuit Panel (ICP) Power, RCC Memory, Cluster) as well as a blown 15a fuse in position 36 (Turn signals, Backup lamps).
Also in my power distribution box under the hood I have a blown 15a fuse at position 19 (Right Head Lamp) which is the head light not working of course.
Replacing the fuse in the distribution box it immediately blows again.
When I replace the fuse at position 16 I get my left turn signal turned on immediately and it will not turn off. It does not return power to any other items.
Now I started my car and drove to two different stores to get fuses. Once I started checking more fuses other than the ones I suspected, my car will no longer start. When the key is in the ON position I get fuel pump power, and the lights for the odds and ends on the dash light up.
I am considering removing the flasher relay and seeing if replacing the fuse will then return power to my windows, wipers, etc.
I have checked the wiring harnesses around the fuse box to make sure they are snugly fit together. My battery is at 12.3v at rest.
Any ideas or thoughts for any of this would be most helpful.
Thanks for reading and helping folks.
