have disconnected dash cover. need to disconnect remote mirror switch to gain access to burned out dash light for odometer

I went to school with a Metz. In San Jose.
The connector is secured to the switch with a locking tab. The tab is either squeezed or pried up to release the tab. Then the connector is pulled straight away from the switch. You may need to wiggle it. You can also use a small screwdriver to LIGHTLY pry the connectors apart.
