My car flashes hold light on dashboard and it looks like gear number two problem.

This sounds like you have a turbine speed sensor that is out but to be sure lets run the codes.

I had this problem with my car and the shop replaced the input shaft sensor. I wish I had seen the post fist it cost me $280.00.
