Dear Sirs,
MX5: when cold (in the morning), car shakes left and right - seems like it comes from the back part of car. After 2 to 3 miles it usualy stops shaking. Oil in transmition and reductor was changed, but it doesn't stops.
Shaking is much more radical when weather is cold and when driving around 30 mph, while in summer it almost doesn't feel.
On service the specialist(s) didn't find anything....
Thanks for help.
Best regards, Bob

Are the tires in good condition with out any belt shift? Are you in an extremely cold climate?

Hay.
The tires are 3 years old GoodYear F1 Eagle and are well balanced - shouldn't be a problem. When tires were brand new, shaking was also present. Have to say, that I'm second owner and don't know what was happening with car before. I also tried with winter tires and is a little better - probably because they are narrower and 14 inch!?
I'm driving MX only when dry and never under 5 to 10 oC.
But the shaking disappears when car (oil in dif, gear box, shaft joints ...) is warm. The oil in dif and gear box was changed 2 years ago – maybe it was a little better for a while.

If it is worse when cold, try this. Check your owner's manual. It should provide optional oil weights for different components. See if there is something that is a lighter weight that may help. Since the problem goes away, tires are most likely not an issue (unless it is extreme cold).
