Error code p1518

my mpv will always jerk when accelerating and it does not respond immediately when you accelerate so I diagnose and it gives me an error code 1518 please I need to know how to rectify this problem and what part of the engine is affected. Pls I will appreciate if you can give me a detail process for the repair and include diagram of the engine indicating the member that needs to be changed and pls can this be a problem of the car brain box?
